Hello,
Just bought an S1, so I am new to processing using S1 and its pin-point positioning system. I have previously worked with D1 Pro, which uses relative positioning.
In my project, there are 9 layers, all of them set to cut 3 mm plywood. I used 9 canvases with each canvas holding the design of a layer. The material for all my layers is the same size (a 11-inch square). With D1 Pro, I used to mark the center of the design on the material, place the material using a jig so that the center position is at about the same point, adjust the laser head position if needed (only slightly), process each layer.
I am trying the same project using S1. I learned that it uses absolute coords. What I find cumbersome is the need to mark the boundaries using pin-point positioning for each layer/canvas.
I have searched and am not able to find a way to do this. What am I missing?
