
First of all, thank you for taking your time to assist me.
My D1 was probably one of the first D1's introduced. I have never had any communication issue with this machine since I first started using it. Recently, I connected a Wainlux K10Pro to Lightburn. I connected both of the devices through a StarTech hub (which during my troubleshooting is a no no). lesson learned.
I have since removed these devices from the hub and the Wainlux device is working properly. When I connect the D1 into a different port on the laptop, the port sees the device, but the Control screen says it will not connect.
I then installed Creative Space. I attempted to upgrade my firmware and it wouldn't connect to the module.
I have removed the ports from the laptop's device manager, and when I plug the devices in, the ports reopen properly. (following instructions from Windows)
Could I have damaged the Communications Module? If the Communications Module is damaged, can I get another one?
