Hi friends. I ordered this cutting board to laser engrave. It fits okay in my M1 (I have the riser base), but it will not auto-measure. I've tried removing the base plate to offer more space between the laser and board but it says too far, so I put some stuff underneath it to get it closer, still didn't work. I tried placing it at varying heights, and the auto-measure function just won't recognize it no matter what. 

Could it be that 0.75" is too thick for the auto-measure function to work?
