I'm new to XCS however not a first time CAD user.  When I draw a vertical or horizontal line it will not “snap” to exactly 0 degrees in either plane.  The lines will not align with the background grid pattern and seem off by a few degrees.

I was trying to draw small lines (cross hairs) through the center point of a circle and cannot get them to snap to vertical or horizontal exactly!   Also, even drawing a circle, it will not snap to a perfect circle.  When you drag out the diameter, you can see that the circle will easily change to a slight oval shape…….I would think that the “snap” function of the software would indeed snap to a perfect circle or to lines that are perfectly vertical or horizontal……

What's happening here??

Thanks!

John
