Issue description

When you find your Desktop Air Purifier stops operating and the alarm is buzzing, this may be attributed to airflow obstruction. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the problem.

How to fix it

#1 Check the cover

  1. Check if the cover is installed in reverse. If so, the cover will increase wind resistance, potentially causing the failure of the draught fan.
  2. Reinstall the cover with the air inlet side facing backward.

#2 Inspect the filter cartridge

  1. Check if the pre-filter is covered or clogged with dirt.
    • If so, replace it with the replacement from the product package.
  2. Inspect if there is excessive dust on the filter cartridge, since this can result in increased air resistance and fan failure.
    • If so, replace the filter cartridge.

Note: The filter cartridge consists of a pre-filter and activated carbon filter. If your daily projects are smoke-heavy and the primary cotton filter becomes dirty easily, you may clean it with water and replace it after drying.

#3 Check the air outlet, inlet, and exhaust pipe

  1. Check for any foreign objects blocking the air inlet of the purifier, as this may lead to fan failure.
    • If any, clean it accordingly.
  2. Check for any foreign objects blocking the air outlet of F1, as this may also lead to fan failure.
    • If any, clean it accordingly.
  3. Check for any foreign objects in the exhaust pipe, as this may lead to fan failure as well.
    • If any, clean it accordingly.

Note: When connecting the exhaust pipe to F1 and the purifier, make sure the exhaust pipe is not twisted to ensure smooth airflow.

#4 Increase fan speed

  1. The purifier has three-speed settings: minimum, medium, and maximum.
  2. Try increasing the fan speed to see if it resolves the issue.
