Deal with Rust on Bearings
Updated Apr 3,2024
Updated Apr 3,2024

Possible Cause

xTool M1 bearings are crafted from high-hardness bearing steel, yet they are susceptible to rust. This risk stems from the vast disparity in the machine's operating environments, potentially leading to corrosion in the bearings.

Solution

  • You can purchase a bottle of WD-40 Specialist® Corrosion Inhibitor to spray onto rusty parts.
  • Afterwards, gently wipe away the rust with a paper towel.

Note: DO NOT spray WD-40 on other accessories.

Caution: WD-40 Specialist® Corrosion Inhibitor is flammable. Keep away from fire sources and laser processing areas when in use.
