Issue Description

When you take off the baseplate, it's hard to remove the stripped screw.

Possible Cause

The baseplate uses anti-loose screws, tighter than ordinary ones.

Note: When you take off the screws on the baseplate, make sure the size of the screwdriver is proper. If the screw is stripped, stop removing the screw.

Solution

  1. Take off the screw with a 5-inch Phillips screwdriver.

  1. Remove other screws first, lift the machine, and tap the baseplate a couple of times. Try to remove the stripped screw.
  1. Attach a piece of rubber or drop glue to the stripped screw and try again.

  1. Drop a small amount of mechanical lubricant around the screws and wait a while before removing them.
