1. How to set the pressure of the pinch rollers on a material?
You can raise or lower the pinch rollers by turning the knob to adjust the pressure.
(1) Determine the pressure level recommended for your material.

(2) Observe the level in the pressure level window while turning the knob to ensure that you set the level properly.
2. Unexpected sounds are made at the pinch rollers, what can I do?
Check whether the pressure of the pinch rollers is set too high. Setting the pressure too high may cause machine faults. When this happens, reduce the pressure of the pinch rollers.
Note: If you are using xTool P2, the motors are locked when the lid is closed, and you can't adjust the position of the material. Open the lid of the machine, raise the pinch rollers, and then adjust the position of the material.
3. How do I ensure the material processing accuracy?
When you use the conveyor feeder, there may be an offset of less than 2 mm per 1000 mm conveying.
Use flat materials without warped edges, arched parts, or being twisted, when possible.
Soft and flexible materials are easy to distort, may not be accurately conveyed, and are easy to stick in gaps. For soft and flexible materials of thickness less than 5 mm, you are advised to stick PET tape on its back before processing.
Place the conveyor rails parallel to the conveying direction of a material, when possible.
Adjust the distance between the rails according to the width of the material to be processed. Make sure that each part of the material is evenly pressed, when possible. Otherwise, material distortion may be caused and thus pattern deformation is caused.
Add conveyor rails according to the length of the material to be processed. Make sure that the part of a material hung in the air is no longer than 30 cm.
You can go to xtool.com to purchase conveyor rails.
4. How do I clean the conveyor feeder?
If residues (such as wood chips) accumulate under the pinch rollers, you can turn over the conveyor feeder, and clean the pinch rollers with a brush (such as a toothbrush) while turning the knob.
If the smoke produced due to material processing is not exhausted in time, the working area may become dirty. You can clean it with a cleaning cloth and an alkaline cleanser.
5. The motor cable or smoke exhaust pipe causes interference in the material processing of the conveyor feeder. What can I do?
Use the cable ties and cable tie holders to hold the smoke exhaust pipe, and use the cable clamp to hold the motor cable.
6. What materials does the conveyor feeder support?
Various materials are tested in the xTool lab. The following table describes some of the materials supported by the conveyor feeder:

Stick PET tape on the back of a material base on its density and physical softness to enhance its crispness and thus prevent it from sticking on the rollers. For soft and flexible materials of thickness less than 5 mm, you are advised to stick PET tape on its back before processing.

7. Can I use the conveyor feeder to process corrugated paper?
You are advised not to process corrugated paper with the conveyor feeder. To ensure the accuracy of conveying the corrugated paper, high pressure is required, which may damage the surface of the corrugated paper.
8. What is the maximum length of materials supported by the conveyor feeder?
The maximum thickness of plywood supported is 14 mm. When you process a piece of plywood thicker than 9 mm, however, the conveying accuracy significantly depends on the flatness of the plywood. Therefore, to process a piece thicker than 9 mm, you need to ensure that it is flat without warped edges or being twisted.
9. What is the maximum length of materials supported by the conveyor feeder?
To ensure that your machine works properly to complete your works, you are advised to process materials of the lengths recommended in the following table:

10. The residues are burned when processing due to heaping up on the base plate. What can I do?
Clean the residues on the base plate every time after processing. Or the residues may be set fire by laser, which can cause a fire in serious cases.
11. Oil stains are produced and accumulate on the surface of materials when laser engraving. What can I do?
Clean the laser module in a timely manner. Or the oil stains may accumulate on the nozzle.
Set the airflow of the air pump lower in XCS. A lower airflow is recommended. Setting range: 30%–100%.
12. When processing acrylic, the "Precise-measure" function fails. What can I do?
Place an opaque paper above the acrylic or stick the textured paper tape on the measurement area. Ensure that there is no other light inside the device. And measure again.
13. The cutting part is difficult to be removed after setting the tab generation. What can I do?
Increase or reduce the tab size and amount according to the thickness and hardness of the material to be processed. If the material is too thick, apply higher tab cut power.
14. The cable tie holder falls off. What can I do?
After sticking the cable tie holder, it is recommended that you use it to tie the smoke exhaust tube 24 hours later.
15. How do I operate the conveyor feeder with XCS?
You need to connect the conveyor feeder to xTool P2 or have connected it to xTool P2 before.
On XCS, select the Conveyor feeder processing mode. The working area of your device changes after you select the processing type.
16. How to check the focal length of a material?
(1) Click Refresh to refresh the image captured by the distant-view camera. Ensure that you can see the working area and the material inside xTool P2. You can click Capture close view to view a specific area in the working area.
(2) Click the Precise-measure icon to select the position where the material is located to measure the distance. The image of the area you select is captured. Observe the red spot inside the machine. Ensure that it falls on the surface of the material to be processed.
17. How to check the processing position on XCS?
You can use the cameras of xTool P2 to capture the image inside the machine. Ensure that the conveyor feeder is placed inside xTool P2 and the material to be processed is properly placed. You need to use the distance measurement function to capture the close shot. Note that the cameras can capture only the images inside xTool P2.
Place design elements within the working area of the conveyor feeder (as shown in the following figure in the red frame). Processing a material with the processing start position outside of the working area may damage the conveyor module.
