Updated Dec 20,2023
Issue Description:
When P2 is correctly installed with a fire safety set, and you want to do a fire extinguishing test, or P2 catches fire during processing, you may find little or no carbon dioxide gas ejected from the vent hole. This may result in a failure to extinguish the fire or an unsatisfactory fire-extinguishing effect.
#1 Check the Air Tube of the Fire Safety Set for Kinks
- Check the external air tube of the fire safety set for any kinks and adjust them.
- If it can not be adjusted, just cut off the kinked segment and rejoin the ends.
#2 Check the Air Tube Connector Inside P2 for Loose Connection
- Remove the rear plate of P2 and check the connection of the air tube.
- If you find it loose or detached, please reinstall it.
Note: Please make sure not to bend the air tube when reinstalling the rear plate.
#3 Check the Air Tube Inside P2 for Kinks
- Remove the rear plate of P2 and check the air tube.
- If it is kinked, press down the connector of the air tube and take it out.
- Cut off the kinked segment and rejoin the ends.
Note: Please make sure not to kink the air tube when reinstalling the rear plate.
