🎯Red Cross VS Laser Spot: What's the Difference?

First, let's understand the difference between the Red Cross and the Laser Spot. As shown in the below photo, the Red Cross positioning light is generated from a separate output, while the Laser Spot positioning light shares the same outlet with the laser beam.

🔁 Switch Between the Two Modes

 

Navigate to ⚙  > "Working parameters" and select the mode you want to use.

 

If you select Red Cross mode, a red cross laser will automatically emit every time the machine is turned on.

 

And if you choose Laser Spot mode, you'll need to enable it manually each time at Process > Enable.

 

Note: the maximum power of Laser Spot can be set to 10%.

Applicable Conditions

 

For D1 pro with 40W module, Laser Cross is not applicable when using Cylindrical Mode.
