If the flame sensor detects the wavelength of flame emissions, the flame alarm will go off. However, some of you have seen false alarms. There are two possible causes:
1. The machine is running under sunlight. The reason is that the wavelength of the flame and sunlight may coincide at some point. Therefore, the alarm will be triggered.
So, please do not use the machine under direct sunlight or accent light.
2. The flame detection is in High sensitivity mode. See details below:
Please note that it takes more than three seconds to trigger the alarm.
1. Click on the gear icon and select Low sensitivity.
2. Set a lower Power and/or Density value, and/or set a higher Speed value when processing on an inflammable material.
3. Replace the Flame Sensor in case of malfunctioning.
Last but not least, do not leave the machine running unattended!! It’s always best to put safety first so that you can avoid any unnecessary risks.
