Reason 1 : Inaccurate focus.
Solution : Re-measure the height of the material or manually measure to ensure correct focus.
Reason 2 : Low definition picture.
Solution : Replace a higher definition picture for engraving.
Reason 3 : Engraving density is too low.
Solution : Increase the engraving density before processing.
Reason 4 : Engraving speed is too fast.
Solution : Reduce the engraving speed accordingly.
Reason 5 : Some materials are easy to melt or burn after being heated, such as PU film, A4 paper, etc.
Solution : Reduce the engraving power or increase the engraving speed. We recommend you to replace the materials for engraving.
Reason 6 : Too much power will turn the engraving edge black, while too little power can not process the details properly.
Solution : According to the actual situation, adjust the laser power.
Reason 1 : The material cannot be processed, for example, it is difficult to engrave on some pure metal surfaces.
Solution : Use metal with oxide coating or spray paint coating for engraving.
Reason 2 : It is difficult for transparent materials to absorb laser energy, such as acrylic and glass.
Solution : Spray a layer of water-soluble paint on the surface of the material or engrave it after using xTool’s official laser color paper material.
It can increase the absorption rate of laser energy of transparent materials. If it is still hard to engrave, we recommend you to replace the material.
Reason 3 : Sculpting is done using a rotary attachment, but the graphics are placed outside the engraving area.
Solution : Move the auxiliary line to the highest point of the cylinder material, and place all the engraving image on the right side of the line.
