Clean The Photoelectric Sensors of M1
Updated Apr 17,2025
Updated Apr 17,2025

Applicable scenario

xTool M1 is equipped with three photoelectric sensors, corresponding to the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis. These sensors detect the machine’s position when it returns to its origin, thus triggering a system reset. During laser processing, smoke is generated, which can adhere to the sensors over time. This accumulation may impair sensor performance and ultimately lead to reset failures. Therefore, if you encounter reset error codes (Qx14 1, Qx14 2, or Qx14 3), it is advisable to clean the affected sensor as a first step to resolve the issue.
