Ways to Clear the Cache of XCS Software

This article applies to all laser modules using XCS.
 

Issue Description

You will see abnormal connections between XCS and the machine and working errors (for example, USB connection failed, XCS error, etc.) This issue may be related to caches. 
 
 

#Please refer to the following steps to clean the cache.

1. Make sure the XCS is not running. Close it if it is.
2. Go to the cache folder according to the paths below. Remember to replace the User Name in the following path with your actual user name.
  • For Windows:
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\xTool Creative Space\Local Storage
  • For macOS:
/Users/User Name/Library/Application Support/xTool Creative Space/Local Storage
 
3. Delete all files under the Local Storage folder.
4. Relaunch XCS and see if it works.
