Ink safety
Follow the operating principles:
• Keep the ink away from children. Do not allow children to drink ink or touch ink bottles.
• When handling the ink tank, ink tank cover, and opened ink bottles, exercise caution to prevent ink from staining your clothing. Otherwise, it may leave marks that are difficult to clean.
If the ink gets on your skin, wash it off using plenty of soap and water immediately.
If the ink gets in your eyes, rinse with water immediately. If you still feel discomfort or have blurred vision after rinsing, consult a physician.
If the ink gets in your mouth, spit it out immediately and consult a physician.
• When the ink level is low, the printer may get damaged if you continue using it. Please refill the ink as soon as possible.
• Keep the ink in a cool and dark place.
• Ensure that the workspace is open and well-ventilated.
Use and maintenance
Follow the operating principles:
• Check the machine for damage every time before you use it. Do not operate it in any way when any damage or defect is found.
• Ensure that the workspace is clean and flat.
• Keep the inside of the machine clean.
• Do not store the product in an environment with sudden changes in temperature and humidity. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, hard light, or heat sources.
• The device works properly at temperatures of 15°C to 30°C. The machine works properly at a relative humidity of 30% to 80%. It is recommended that the device work at a temperature of 20°C to 30°C and at a relative humidity of 50% to 80%. Do not operate it at a temperature of too low (lower than 5°C) or too high (higher than 40°C).
• The device is not user-serviceable. It must be returned to the factory or repaired by authorized professionals.
• Disconnect the power supply before disassembling the device, such as replacing the print head and cutting blade.
• Prevent blade contact with your fingers on the bottom of the print head when cleaning the print head, or you may get hurt.
• Please follow the maintenance schedule. Otherwise, it can cause the head clogs and even serious printer damage.
• The power plug serves as the disconnection device.
• The product is intended to be operated up to 2000 meters above sea level.
xTool Internal Humidity Module for Apparel Printer
Before using this humidity module, please read and observe the following safety guidelines carefully. This humidity module is specially designed for xTool Apparel Printer / xTool Apparel Printer Plus. It uses ultrasonic and cold evaporation technology to increase the humidity in the processing area inside the Direct-to-Film (DTF) printer. Proper use can significantly improve DTF print quality, but improper operation may cause serious damage to the equipment.
This humidity module is exclusively for internal use in xTool printing series products and is classified as an ITE accessory.
Water quality and environmental requirements
- Always use clean tap water
- If local tap water tends to produce white scale deposits, it is recommended to use treated or softened water.
- Do not use purified water or distilled water, as this may affect the humidity module's mist output.
- Water with high levels of impurities or scale can clog the atomizer components and reduce humidification performance.
- Humidity control:
- When the relative humidity is below 50%, it is recommended to turn on this humidity module.
- When the relative humidity is above 70%, it is strongly recommended to turn off this humidity module.
- Do NOT use the device in flammable, explosive, or high-dust environments.
Electrical safety
- Use only the original power adapter. Do not use third-party adapters to prevent damage to the power supply or the print head.
- Do not place the power cord in high-temperature, humid, or high-traffic areas where it may be stepped on.
- Do not disassemble or repair the device yourself in case of malfunction.
- Do not tilt the device, as this may cause water from the tank to spill and create a risk of electric shock or leakage.
- Before refilling water, replacing the wick filter pad, or cleaning the mist chamber, always disconnect the device from the power supply. Never plug or unplug the power cord with wet hands.
- When refilling water, remove only the water tank. Do not remove the entire unit. Ensure the water tank is moved away from the printer's working area. Never refill water above the printer to prevent liquid from dripping into the machine and causing a short circuit.
Device safety
- When the humidity module is installed inside the printer, keep it level to prevent liquid from leaking into electrical components. If any leakage occurs, wipe it dry immediately.
- When removing or installing the water tank, check the bottom of the tank for any liquid leakage and wipe it dry. Install the tank slowly and carefully to avoid splashing.
- If the humidity module will not be used for an extended period, completely empty the water tank, wipe the interior thoroughly dry, and store it properly to prevent bacterial growth.
- Do not operate the device without water (dry running).
- Do not tilt or move the humidity module while it contains water, as this may cause leakage.
User safety
- Never add fragrances, essential oils, disinfectants, or any other chemicals to the water tank.
- Do not touch the water tank, air inlet, or air outlet while the device is operating to avoid the risk of electric shock.
- Keep children and pets away from the device.
- Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the air inlet, air intake fan, or air outlet to prevent injury or damage to the fan blades.
Usage and maintenance
- Replace the wick filter pad regularly. For details, refer to the Quick Start Guide. Ensure the device is dry before performing any maintenance.
- If hot-melt adhesive powder enters the humidity module, remove the mist chamber cover and thoroughly clean the inside of the mist chamber with a non-woven cloth.
Tip: Proper use of the humidifier can significantly improve DTF print quality. However, excessive humidity may cause condensation on the print head. Please adjust the humidification level gradually according to the actual ambient humidity.
Emergency procedures
- If the humidity module leaks and water flows into the DTF printer, immediately disconnect the power to both the printer and the humidifier. Do not power on the devices again until all water has been completely removed and all components are thoroughly dry.
- If you notice a strange noise, burning smell, smoke, abnormal indicator lights, or abnormal temperature during operation, immediately disconnect the power and stop using the device. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair it yourself. Please contact xTool Customer Service immediately for assistance.
