Select objects to move, resize, or edit them. Use Shift for multi-selection, marquee selection, and the right-click menu for common edits.
Select one object
- At the bottom of the left rail, ensure Select mode is active (not Hand).
- Click an object on the canvas.
- Handles appear around the selection. Drag to move; use corners to resize; use the rotation control if shown.

Select multiple objects
- Shift+click additional objects to add or remove them from the selection.
- Or drag on empty canvas to draw a selection box around several objects.
- To select everything: right-click the canvas → Select All, or use Edit → Select All from the logo menu.

Group and ungroup
- With multiple objects selected, right-click → Group (shortcut often ⌘G / Ctrl+G).
- Right-click a group → Ungroup (⇧⌘G / Ctrl+Shift+G on many setups).

Canvas context menu
Right-click the canvas or a selected object.
When nothing is selected, you may see:
- Paste
- Select All
- Zoom in / Zoom out
- Canvas/grid options such as Show grid / Hide grid
- Show hidden objects
When objects are selected, you may see:
- Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete
- Group / Ungroup
- Lock / Unlock, Show / Hide
- Arrange (layer order)
- Other items depending on object type (images, text, masks, etc.)

Object list
- Bottom of left rail → open the object list panel to select, reorder, or hide objects by layer.

Tips
- In Hand mode, clicks pan the canvas instead of selecting—switch back to Select.
- Some tools (for example Vector pen mode) limit paste or select-all until you exit the tool.
