Troubleshoot Sensor Disconnection for Automatic Conveyor Feeder (Error Code FEEDER.SENSOR_DISCONNECT.)

Issue description

After xTool P3 is connected to the software, the software reports an error that the sensor of the automatic conveyor feeder is disconnected. The error code is FEEDER.SENSOR_DISCONNECT.

Possible causes

  • The connection cable of the automatic conveyor feeder is loose, disconnected, or damaged.
  • The connection cable of the sensor is loose or disconnected.
  • The sensor is mulfunctioning.

Troubleshooting procedures

1. Check the software and firmware versions

Verify that the software and firmware are up to date. If not, update them to the latest versions and restart xTool P3.

2. Check the connection cable of the automatic conveyor feeder

🔔 Hot-swapping is not supported for the automatic conveyor feeder. Before performing the following steps, power off xTool P3 first.

(1) Verify whether the connection cable is fully inserted. If not, unplug and reinsert it.

(2) Check whether the connection cable is damaged. If yes, replace it with a new one.

3. Check the connection cable of the sensor

(1) Power off xTool P3, unplug the connection cable of the automatic conveyor feeder, and take out the conveyor feeder.

(2) Use screwdrivers to disassemble and remove the casing of the automatic conveyor feeder.

(3) Unplug and reinsert the connection cable of the sensor.

(4) Reinstall the casing of the conveyor feeder and restart xTool P3.
