Troubleshoot "Gas Cylinder Motor Exception" for xTool P3

Issue description

The device occurs an exception, and a pop-up window indicating a gas cylinder motor error appears even after connecting to the software.

The error code is GAS_BOTTLE_HOME.TIMEOUT.

Possible causes

  1. Abnormal gas cylinder motor reset sensor
  2. The connection cable is loose.
  3. Gas cylinder motor malfunction

Troubleshooting procedures

1. Check the software and firmware

Update to the latest version of the software and firmware, then restart the device.

2. Check the connector of the main control board

(1) Disconnect the device from the power supply. Follow the image below or the tutorial to remove the left panel.

(2) Unplug and plug the connector as shown. Then restart the device.

3. Check the connector of the sensor

(1) Disconnect the device from the power supply. Follow the tutorial to remove the rear panel.

(2) After unplugging and reinserting the gas cylinder motor reset sensor connector (as shown), restart the device.
