When you find the machine restarts for no reason during processing or simply won't power on at all, please refer to this article to troubleshoot.
On the motherboard, you will find a blue LED indicator. Let's check it first.
To confirm if there is a short circuit in the laser module, do the following.
On the power adapter, you will find a green light indicator. It tells you the condition of the adaptor.
To be sure, grab a multimeter and get a readout of the adaptor's output voltage. Refer to the picture below for how. Mind the setting of your multimeter. We use DC for the current setting.
The correct voltage reading depends on what laser module is connected. See the list below:
If the reading is way off, or keeps floating, the adaptor may need to be replaced.
If the power adaptor is not the problem, move on to the motherboard.
