Issue description

The processing is paused suddenly and cannot continue to process. The software displays a pop-up window. The error code is "COOL_WATER_MACHINE.ELEMENT_ABNORMAL.WATER_LINE_LOW".

Possible causes

  1. The firmware and software are not the latest version.
  2. The antifreeze is insufficient.
  3. The water tank leaks.
  4. The water-cooling system is faulty.

Troubleshooting procedures

1. Check the firmware and software

Update the firmware and software to the latest version. And then restart the device.

2. Check the volume of the antifreeze

Normally, after the device is turned on, some antifreeze will circulate into the laser tube and water tube, and the level of the remaining antifreeze in the water tank is roughly 70%-80% of the water tank's capacity.

  • If the liquid level falls significantly below this range, add antifreeze to refill it to the 70%-80% level.
  • If the liquid level reaches this range but falls rapidly, check the laser tube or water-cooling system.

3. Check the laser tube

(1) Power off the device and disconnect it from a power supply.

(2) Follow the tutorial to remove the upper cover of the laser tube.

(3) Check whether the interior of the laser tube cracks, causing antifreeze to leak outside the inner tube (The laser tube features a double-walled glass structure. Normally, the antifreeze circulates only inside the inner tube).

  • If the laser tube cracks, replace the laser tube.
  • If the laser tube does not crack, check for other issues.

4. Check the water-cooling system

(1) Check whether the liquid leaks around the water tank. (This problem is caused by the water level in the water tank dropping in a short period of time after the device leaks.)

  • If no leakage, check for other issues.
  • If leakage occurs, follow the steps to check the water tank and water tube.
    1. Disconnect the device from the power supply.
    2. Follow the tutorial to remove the rear plate.
    3. Check the position of the leakage (The arrow indicates the key inspection areas).
      1. If the water tube leaks, replace it with a new one.
      2. If the water tank leaks, replace a new water-cooling system.

5. The water-cooling system is faulty

If the antifreeze in the water tank is adequate, but the error code still indicates "Low water level", follow the tutorial to replace a new water-cooling system.
