Issue description
After the automatic conveyor feeder is installed and connected to xTool P3, xTool software does not display its connection status.
Possible causes
Automatic conveyor feeder
- Damaged connection cable
- Damaged main control board
xTool P3
- The connector for the automatic conveyor feeder on xTool P3's main control board is loose.
- Air pump malfunction
- Main control board malfunction
Troubleshooting
1. Check the connection cable of the automatic conveyor feeder.
(1) Verify whether the connection cable is fully inserted. If not, unplug and reinsert it.
(2) Check whether the connection cable is damaged. If yes, replace it with a new one.
2. Check whether the automatic conveyor feeder is powered on.
After connecting the conveyor feeder, turn on xTool P3 and check whether there is light inside the conveyor feeder.
(1) If there is light, perform 4 to check the communication connector.
(2) If there is no light, perform 3 and 4 to check the power connector and communication connector.
3. Check the power connector of xTool P3's main control board.
(1) Power off xTool P3 and remove its left panel. You can refer to Assemble & Disassemble the Casing of xTool P3 for instructions.
(2) Unplug the connector for the automatic conveyor feeder and reinsert it. Then, power on xTool P3.
4. Check the communication connector on the air pump board.
(1) Power off xTool P3 and remove its left panel. You can refer to Assemble & Disassemble the Casing of xTool P3 for instructions.
(2) Unplug the connector for the automatic conveyor feeder and reinsert it. Then, power on xTool P3.
5. Check the main control board of the conveyor feeder.
(1) Use screwdrivers to disassemble and remove the casing of the automatic conveyor feeder.
(2) Connect the conveyor feeder to xTool P3 and power on xTool P3. Then, check whether the connector on the main control board is damaged and whether the indicators are on.
a. If the connector is damaged or the indicators are off, perform 6 to check the adapter board.
b. If the indicators are on, which indicates that the main control board works properly, please check for other issues.
6. Check the adapter board of xTool P3.
(1) Power off xTool P3 and remove its left panel. You can refer to Assemble & Disassemble the Casing of xTool P3 for instructions.
(2) Check the connector and cables on the adapter board.
- If the connector is loose, unplug and reinsert it.
- If the adapter board or cables are damaged, replace them.
- If the adapter board and cables work properly and the connector is fully inserted, replace the main control board of the automatic conveyor feeder.
