Safety tips

This procedure must be performed only by qualified personnel with appropriate knowledge and experience in servicing electrical equipment. Before starting, ensure that the device is switched off and disconnected from all power sources, and perform the procedure in strict accordance with the instructions in this tutorial.

Applicable scenarios

1. When the water-cooling machine malfunctions, it must be replaced.
2. The water-cooling machine must be disassembled for repair.

Version description

• Due to differences in production batches, there are two versions of the xTool P3 water-cooling machine. Both versions have the same functionality; the only difference is the length of the power cable. The newer version has a longer power cable and is compatible with the newer version of the vertical switching power supply; the older version cannot be used as a replacement for the newer version.
• The switching power supplies come in a horizontal model ① and a vertical model ②. Since the interface locations differ between the two, the connection points for the power cables on the water-cooling machine will vary. However, the replacement procedure and other operational steps are the same. This video demonstrates the process using the horizontal switching power supply ① as an example.

Cautions

1. Please unplug the power cable before proceeding.
2. There are many cables connected to the switching power supply; please do not connect them incorrectly.
3. Because there are different versions of the switching power supply, the location of the power supply connection cable varies across the water-cooling machine. However, the disassembly and reassembly procedures are the same. Please distinguish them carefully.
