Troubleshoot Water-cooling Machine Exception - Sensor Exception Detected (Error Code: NOT_FOUND)

Issue description

The software prompts "Sensor exception detected", and the error code indicates "COOL_WATER_MACHINE.ELEMENT_ABNORMAL.NOT_FOUND".

Possible causes

  1. The firmware is not the latest version.
  2. The connection cable of the water-cooling machine is loose.
  3. The connection cable of the water-cooling machine is damaged.
  4. The water-cooling machine is faulty.

Troubleshooting procedures

1. Check the firmware and software

Update the firmware and software to the latest version. And then restart the device.

2. Check the connector of the water-cooling machine

(1) Disconnect xTool P3 from a power supply. Remove the left plate according to the illustration below or the video.

(2) Find the connection cable as shown.

(3) Unplug and plug the connection cable, and restart the device. Observe if the device can work normally.

Note: There may be some yellow soft rubber on the connector. If the connector is plugged too tightly, you can gently pry up or scrape the rubber before plugging or unplugging.

3. Check the cables of the water-cooling machine

(1) Disconnect xTool P3 from a power supply. Remove the rear plate according to the illustration below or the video.

(2) Check whether the connection cables of the water-cooling machine are damaged.

  • If the cables are damaged, replace the water-cooling machine.
  • If the cables are not damaged, check for other issues.

4. Check the power cable of the water-cooling machine

(1) Disconnect xTool P3 from a power supply. Remove the rear plate according to the illustration below or the video.

(2) Check whether the power cable of the water-cooling machine is loose.

  • If the power cable is loose, secure it.
  • If the power cable is not loose, check for other issues.

5. The water-cooling machine is faulty

Replace with a new water-cooling machine.
