About this video tutorial

This video tutorial aims to provide step-by-step instructions on how to replace the capacitive sensor board for xTool MetalFab CNC Cutter.

The procedure outlined in this section should be performed ONLY when

• The capacitive sensor board has been diagnosed as malfunctioning by xTool technical experts and thereupon requires replacement.
• The capacitive sensor board has obvious burn marks.

⚠️ Important notes

Before and during the replacement, please:

• Power off the machine: Turn off the machine and unplug all the cables.
• Handle with care: Exercise caution when disconnecting and connecting connectors to prevent potential damage.
• Check installation: Ensure that the capacitive sensor board is well secured and the connectors are firmly seated.

Tools required

• 1.5 mm hex key
• 2.5 mm hex key
• 3 mm hex key
• A new capacitive sensor board
