Issue description

If you encounter a pop-up error message titled "Metal Welder not connected" in xTool software, please follow this troubleshooting guide to resolve this issue.

Possible causes

Abnormal connection between xTool MetalFab CNC Cutter and xTool MetalFab Laser Welder

Detailed procedure

1. Unplug the communication cable between the two devices.

2. Check if the cable is damaged and if any pin on both ends is bent or missing.

3. If the cable is normal, reconnect the two devices using the cable. Ensure that you've tightened the cable connector by turning it clockwise.

4. Power on xTool MetalFab Laser Welder. Wait until it is fully initiated, then power on xTool CNC Cutter and check if the issue is resolved.
   If the two devices are connected properly, the following message will be shown on the touchscreen of xTool MetalFab Laser Welder.

5. If the issue persists, please prepare a video recording your troubleshooting process and results and send it to xTool Customer Service for further assistance.
