1. Common Issues

1.1 Laser damages the device’s flat base during deep engraving.

1.2 Cut shapes are incomplete in deep engraving mode.

1.3 Edges of cut shapes are rough with burrs.

2. Solutions

2.1 Place a Slatted Panel to protect the device base

Before cutting in deep engraving mode, place a Slatted Panel on the device’s flat base to prevent the laser from directly engraving into the metal base of the machine.

2.2 Increase the Number of Layers to improve cutting depth

The higher the Number of Layers, the deeper the cut. Increasing the layers helps achieve cuts on thicker metals.

2.3 Increase the Number of Layers to reduce burrs

If burrs appear along the edges of cut shapes, increasing the Number of Layers can help minimize them.

2.4 Reduce speed to minimize burrs

Lowering the processing speed improves cutting quality and reduces the formation of burrs.
