If this article doesn't effectively assist you in resolving the issue or the error code you encounter is not included, contact xTool customer service and provide the information to them.

Information you need to prepare:

  • Work log (Device settings > Working info > Work log > Export)

  • A photo of SN

  • A video of a faulty device (including the screenshot of the error code)

1. Main control board is disconnected

The following numbers and characters correspond to the error codes displayed in the fault pop-up window. Select the appropriate solution based on the error code in the software:

  • motion_gd470: main control board
  • display_gd757: knob screen
  • z_axis_gd303: Z-axis adapter board
  • airpump_gd303: air pump board

2. Main controller temperature is too high

  • The processing time is too long.
  • The working environment temperature is too high.
  • The main control board is faulty.
  • Update xTool Studio software and the firmware to the latest version.
  • Power off the device and let it sit for a while to allow the main control board to cool down.
  • Check the ambient temperature. If the temperature exceeds 30℃, prepare a heat dissipation device.
  • Replace the main control board.

3. Gantry homing exception

10. Device water temperature is slightly below normal

  • The water cooling system is faulty.
  • Power off the device and let the antifreeze cool down (41℉-82.4℉), and then restart the device.
  • Check the ambient temperature. If it is under 41℉, place the device under the ambient temperature of 0℉-82.4℉.
  • Replace the water cooling system.

11. Device water temperature too low

  • The temperature of the antifreeze is too low.

  • Check the ambient temperature. If it is under 0℉, place the device under the ambient temperature of 41℉-82.4℉.
  • Replace the water cooling system.

  • The muffler of the air pump is dirty.
  • The air pump is faulty.
  • Update xTool Studio software and the firmware to the latest version.
  • Restart the device.
  • Unplug and plug the connection cable of the air pump. Then restart the device.

  • Replace the air pump.
