Information you need to prepare:

  • Work log (Device settings > Working info > Work log > Export)

  • A photo of SN

  • A video of a faulty device (including the screenshot of the error code)

1. Main control board is disconnected

The following numbers and characters correspond to the error codes displayed in the fault pop-up window. Select the appropriate solution based on the error code in the software:

  • motion_gd470: main control board
  • display_gd757: knob screen
  • z_axis_gd303: Z-axis adapter board

2. Main controller temperature is too high

  • Check the ambient temperature. If the temperature exceeds 30℃, prepare a heat dissipation device.
  • Replace the main control board.

3. Gantry homing exception

  • Check the ambient temperature. If it is under 41℉, place the device under the ambient temperature of 0-82.4℉.
  • Replace the water cooling system.

12. Device water temperature too low

  • Check the ambient temperature. If it is under 0℉, place the device under the ambient temperature of 41-82.4℉.
  • Replace the water cooling system.

13. Device water temperature is slightly above normal

The temperature sensor of the air pump is abnormal.

The temperature of the air pump board is too high (>80℃).

  • The ambient temperature is too high.
  • Extended processing
  • Air pump board malfunctions.
  1. Turn off the device, wait 30 minutes for it to cool down, and then turn it on.
  2. If the ambient temperature exceeds 30°C, it is recommended to install a cooling device before using xTool P3.
  3. The air pump board is faulty. Replace the air pump board.

Error Code AIRPUMP.ELEMENT_ABNORMAL.TEMP_LOW

The temperature of the air pump board is too low.

  • The ambient temperature is too low.
  • The air pump board malfunctions.
  1. Place the device in an environment with a temperature between 5 and 25°C before processing.
  2. The air pump board is faulty. Replace the air pump board.

  • The laser head has not finished heating up.
  • The ambient temperature is too low.
  • The laser module is faulty.
  1. Put the device on standby and wait for the laser module to heat up.
  2. Avoid using the device in environments where the temperature is below 0°C.
  3. Laser module malfunctions. Replace the laser module.
