1.2 Adapt to Processing Equipment

Adapt processing mode: Process on flat surface

1.3 Use of Accessories

Air-Compress Assist

Generate airflow to assist in laser processing.

2. Preparation Before Processing

2.1 Air Pump Assistance

Turning on the air pump assist can blow away the smoke and dust generated during the engraving process, keeping the cutting path clear.

Activating the air pump assistance can blow away dust, reducing the likelihood of false flame alarms.

Turning on the air pump assistance can reduce contamination of the laser lens and ensure the accuracy of processing data.

2.2 Protective Equipment

Laser Protective Glasses:

Please use laser safety goggles corresponding to the laser wavelength in use, and take care to avoid damage to the goggles from laser reflection or scattering.

Dust Mask:

A dust mask must be worn during processing to prevent inhalation of dust.

Protected Area:

When using non-enclosed equipment for processing, the processing area must be shielded to prevent laser leakage. Do not remove the equipment's protective cover during laser operation.

3. Common Issues and Solutions

3.1 Cleaning After Leather Carving

After leather engraving, reaction residues may remain on the engraved areas of the material's surface. Simply wipe them off with a cotton cloth or tissue.

3.2 Material Fixation

When engraving leather materials, it is recommended to use magnetic snaps or other methods to secure the material to prevent it from moving during processing due to the use of Air-Compress Assist or similar causes.

3.3 Background engraving is not obvious

For leather materials with a base color, please process using the recommended parameters.

If no colored underlayer is visible on the leather after laser engraving, it means the top layer of the leather has not been fully engraved through, and the output power needs to be increased.
