Lines per cm is the amount of line the machine is burning back and forth in actual one centimetre of an area.
The lower the density, the sparser the objects of engraving and the more obvious the objects’ linearity.
The picture below shows the effect of setting 20-300 lines per cm. (same power and speed)
The Lines per cm function is applicable to Bitmap Engrave and Vector Engrave on all models except Bitmap Engrave of xTool F1 and F1 Ultra.
When fine engraving is required, such as engraving photographs or complex patterns, higher Lines per cm ensure that the details of the image are fully realized.
When creating company logos, trademarks and other images that require high definition, adjusting the Lines per cm ensures that the logo is clear and professional.
Artists can control the detail and texture of their artwork by adjusting the Lines per cm.
There is a clear difference between objects with Lines per cm set to 10 and 300.
Lines per cm determines the resolution of the image to be engraved and it also affects the engraved effect. (same power and speed)
When you set the same parameters of power and speed, there will be no processing effect or excessive processing results if you set the improper parameters. Different values of lines per cm will influence the engraved effect on different materials.
