What is Settings Overview

Settings Overview is a function in the xTool Studio that provides a centralized interface for viewing and adjusting the various setup parameters of the objects.

In the Settings Overview column, you can see the processing types and processing parameters for all objects.

How to Use Settings Overview

(1) Click the object you want to set processing type or parameters for.

(2) The type of object will be labeled. And you can choose whether or not to Output the object.

(3) Then you could choose Processing type: Score, Engrave and Cut for Vectors and Bitmap Engrave.

(4) You can set the parameters yourself. Or you can select xTool materials and the default parameters will be set automatically.

(5) If you have set up one object and want to set up another one, you can click the Arrow icon next to Settings overview. Then click the object you want to set to choose the specific processing type and processing parameters.

Tips & Tricks

Self-test Parameters

You can also set the parameters based on your own test results. The Material Test Array function in xTool Creative Space generates automatic test arrays for your design patterns. In this way, you can visualize the effect of different parameter settings on the final product.
