Issue description
In wire-filled laser welding, the weld beads are concave or convex instead of smooth and flat.
![]() | ![]() |
Possible causes
During welding, the welding head moves too fast. The weld pool solidifies rapidly, failing to completely fill in the joint.
Solutions
Perform correct welding operation
During laser welding, simply hold the welding head steady and guide the direction. Do not push, pull, or press the welding head. (As the welding head feeds the wire forward, a reaction force is generated from the welding point that automatically pushes the welding head backward.)
