Rust Removal

  • Install the CNC cleaning nozzle and set the scale to -5. Turn on the machine and place the rusty metal to be cleaned, then connect it to the XCS.

  • Switch the mode to rust removal mode and adjust the air pressure to 0.6 MPa (air can remove rust, but nitrogen or argon has a better effect).

  • Draw the rust removal area and click framing to confirm.

  • Set the parameters: power at 35%, speed at 35 mm/s, frequency at 150 Hz, and scan width at 10 mm.

  • The cleaning height is determined by the height of the workpiece:

If your workpiece is placed on a plate, then the height = 53 mm - plate thickness - cleaning workpiece thickness.

If your workpiece is placed directly on the blade, then the height = 53 mm - cleaning workpiece thickness.

For example, for a 10 mm thick iron block placed on a 2 mm stainless steel plate, the height would be 41 mm.

  • Click Process, close the lid, press the Start button, start cleaning

Paint Removal

  • Install the CNC cleaning nozzle and set the scale to -5. Turn on the machine and place the rusty metal to be cleaned, then connect it to the XCS.

  • Switch the mode to rust removal mode and adjust the air pressure to 0.6 MPa (air can remove rust, but nitrogen or argon has a better effect).

  • Draw the rust removal area and click framing to confirm.

  • Set the parameters. Different paint thicknesses, plate thicknesses, and paint colors require different parameters.

If your workpiece is placed on a plate, then the height = 53 mm - plate thickness - cleaning workpiece thickness.

If your workpiece is placed directly on the blade, then the height = 53 mm - cleaning workpiece thickness.

For example, with a material thickness of 3 mm and a paint thickness of 60 μm, set the parameters to: power at 80%, speed at 20 mm/s, frequency at 150 Hz, scan width at 10 mm, and height at 50 mm.
