About this video tutorial

This video tutorial aims to provide step-by-step instructions on replacing the white and CMYK ink damper in xTool Apparel Printer.

As a consumable part, they should be replaced under the following conditions:

  • if the ink damper is damaged or glitching, or
  • it is advisable to replace the ink damper approximately every three months.

⚠️ Important notes

When performing the replacement, please:

  • Wear a pair of nitrile rubber gloves
  • DO NOT press the sides of the ink damper when removing it.
  • If replacing multiple ink dampers, replace them one at a time to avoid removing them all at once.
  • Use separate syringes to extract ink from different colored dampers; DO NOT mix them.

 

Tools required

To ensure a smooth replacement process, please prepare the following tools:

  • Clean non-woven cloth,
  • A pair of clean scissors,
  • Plastic bag for disposal,
  • Syringe (alternatively, you may use the "Ink Extraction" feature as a substitute), and
  • Ink damper replacement*.
