As a common consumable for a direct-to-film printer, it may degrade and become damaged over time. This naturally necessitates its replacement. Specifically, you should replace the ink pad if:

  • the ink pad surface is not smooth (e.g., cracks, dents, white ink clogs), or
  • the ink pad cannot retain the cleaning solution (e.g., it leaks immediately after being applied).

Please follow the instructions to ensure a proper replacement of the ink pad.

  • Wear a pair of nitrile rubber gloves to prevent contamination.
