This video tutorial aims to provide step-by-step instructions on replacing both the 24V and 42V switched-mode power supplies (switched power supplies) for xTool Apparel Printer.

Both the 24V and 42V power supplies are housed within the printer's left-side panel.

The procedure outlined in this section should be performed when:

  • the components are diagnosed as malfunctioning by xTool technical engineers.

 

⚠️ Important notes

When performing the replacement, please:

  • Handle with Care: When removing the right cover, avoid excessive force as it is connected to the LCD panel via a cable.
  • Safety First: Ensure the power cord is unplugged before performing any disassembly or assembly tasks.
  • ‼️ Power Safety: Choose the appropriate AC input voltage according to your region's power standards by toggling the voltage switch before installing the 24V switched-mode power supply.

 

Tools required

To ensure a smooth replacement process, please prepare the following tools:

  • Philips screwdriver
  • M4 hex screwdriver (included in your package)
  • Slotted screwdriver or a piece of metal plate or similar tool (for the purpose of prying open the right cover)
  • Switched-mode power supply replacement(s)
