About this video tutorial
This video tutorial aims to provide step-by-step instructions on disassembling and assembling the casing for xTool Apparel Printer.
The procedure outlined in this section should be performed when:
the printer casing is damaged and a replacement action is required, or
the removal of the casing for any other examination purposes is required.
⚠️ Important notes
When performing the replacement, please:
Handle with Care: When removing the right cover, avoid excessive force as it is connected to the LCD panel via a cable.
Safety First: Ensure the power cord is unplugged before performing any disassembly or assembly tasks.
Alignment Precision: During the disassembly process, the film holder must be removed. When reinstalling the film holder and film roll, ensure the film aligns precisely with the white marking line. The film should neither overlap the line nor be placed too far away from it (i.e., not shifting left or right), with a maximum allowable gap of 1mm. For a visual reference, see the image below.
Tools required
To ensure a smooth replacement process, please prepare the following tools:
M4 hex screwdriver (included in your package)
Slotted screwdriver or a piece of metal plate or similar tool (for the purpose of prying open the right cover)
