Issues description

This document provides troubleshooting guidelines for addressing “Device self-check” failures in xTool Apparel Printer and xTool OS1. 

This self-check process is a diagnostic routine the machine performs to ensure all sensors and mechanical parts related to the film feeding system are working correctly. The issue generally arises under the following conditions:

  • During the first-time setup of the printer, the self-test for film feeding fails; or
  • During normal operation, the film does not properly engage with the oven.

 

Tools required

To ensure a smooth troubleshooting process, please prepare the following items:

  • M2.5mm hex screwdriver;
  • Philips screwdriver;
  • Caliber;
  • Lint-free cloth;
  • Ethanol;
  • Cleaning brush;

Sensor not trigger failed

A specific sensor is not being triggered when it should be.

The machine is failing to count the film's positioning holes correctly when feeding forward.
