Issue Description

The XCS software interface has a built-in material list. 

In some cases, you may encounter the issue of the XCS interface material list disappearing. This article will help you troubleshoot this problem.

Possible Cause

You might have opened the XCS software without directly connecting to the machine, or your version of XCS could be too old.

Troubleshooting Procedure

#1 Connect the XCS software and the machine

Make sure that the XCS software and the machine are properly connected. 

Once the machine is connected, the material parameters should appear on the XCS interface.

#2 Upgrade the XCS software

If you have an old version of the XCS software, you may experience issues with parameters not displaying. 

This problem has not been reported in the new version of the XCS V2.0 software.  

• Please download and install the latest version of the software by clicking https://www.xtool.com/pages/software.

• After upgrading, you can find the software version number in the XCS settings.  

#3 Uninstall and reinstall XCS

If you're still having trouble after trying the above steps, you can try uninstalling and then reinstalling the XCS software before testing again.
