What is task list?

The task list includes functions such as viewing processing tasks, controlling processing tasks, viewing historical processing tasks and cloud storage of historical tasks.

Function description

Click on the icon or the blank area, and the task list will collapse.
Open the task list during processing, and click the task being processed to directly enter the processing page;
The task list is divided into two major statuses: "In Processing" and "History". A maximum of 20 tasks can be stored in historical tasks. If the limit is exceeded, the file with the earliest time will be automatically replaced.
 
In Processing
Contains thumbnails, XCS file names, device model - device name, processing countdown (for D series and M1, only positive timing is displayed); processing control (you can choose to continue task or cancel task).
(1) When clicking "Cancel task", a pop - up window will appear for secondary confirmation.
(2) When clicking "Continue task" for processing, it will jump to the processing page.
(3) Disconnection for tasks in processing:
Click "Reconnect" to reconnect to the device.
For non - D Series USB processing with USB connection - After disconnection, the task in progress remains in the processing list as shown in the last task in the figure above, with the status "Device Disconnected". Click "Reconnect Device" to reconnect to the device, and click "Move to Historical Tasks" to move the task to the historical list with the status "Processing Interrupted".
For D Series processing with USB connection - When the device for the task in progress is disconnected, the processing task is automatically moved to the historical tasks. After disconnection, a pop - up window in the message center prompts the user "The device is disconnected and the processing has been interrupted. Please check the device status."
 
History:
The list information includes thumbnails, file names, device model - device name, processing time consumption, processing completion time, and view file button.
Tasks in the History list are categorized into “Processing Completed” and “Processing Interrupted”. “Processing Interrupted” refers to tasks where the processing flow was not completed while connected to the host computer.
Click "View file" to open the file in XCS. If the file is already open, it will be displayed in the corresponding project file tab, and at the same time, the task list will be collapsed.
If there is no file in the file path, Clicking "View file" button will trigger a message saying "Can't find the file."

Note: Offline processing tasks will not be displayed in the task list after connection.

 

How to use it?

(1) According to the processing mode you choose, complete the preparation before processing.
(2)Click icon next to Process button, and adjust processing settings.
(3) Click Process and enter the preview page. If you are satisfied with the preview provided by XCS, click the Start button on the top right corner to start processing.
(4) Enter the processing page.
(5) When start processing, click Minimize in the upper right corner to return to the canvas page.
At this time, the processing task is put into the "task list", and the icon of the task list is marked with a value of +1; 

Note:  When minimizing the processing task for the first time, you will be prompted "The processing task has been included in the task list".

(6) After returning to the canvas page, you can re-select the device on the canvas for re-processing;
