Evade smoke is a function unique to the xTool F1 Ultra. When this function is enabled, the device follows a path less affected by smoke to process the material. You are advised to enable it to score on materials such as wood and corrugated paper that produce heavy smoke.
When to use it?
For scenarios where there is a lot of smoke during scoring of wood, MDF, etc., after the Evade smoke mode is enabled, the scored objects will be processed according to the smoke evade path. This mode is disabled by default. After the user manually enables it, the processing path will automatically use the evade smoke path.
Evade smoke path: refers to changing the processing path to avoid the path where the exhaust fan sucks in smoke, thereby reducing the impact of smoke obstruction. Take the corner line with an angle of 75 degrees as the standard, and within 90 degrees around this corner line, process according to the original path, and process the rest in the opposite direction.
How to use it?
For example, choose a 3 mm basswood as the processing material. The same pattern is processed separately in the disabled and enabled Evade smoke mode, and the effect is compared and recorded, and the processing time is recorded.
(1) Click the icon next to the Process button and enable Evade smoke. This mode is disabled by default.
