  • UI board communication cable connection issue or UI board failure.
  • Water-cooling board communication cable connection issue or water-cooling board failure.

Prerequisites

  • Phillips head screwdriver (for disassembling side panels)
  • Access to computer with xTool Creative Space (XCS) software installed.

Troubleshooting Procedure

This procedure is to be followed based on the specific error code displayed in

#1 Error Code BOARDS.ELEMENT_NOT_FOUND.wcb_gd330 (Water-cooling board communication failure)

This error indicates an abnormal communication between the water-cooling control board and the mainboard.
  1. Refer to this video to disassemble the left side cover of the machine: https://support.xtool.com/article/949?from=xTool%20P2%20Series&url=%2Fproduct%2F4.
  2. After disassembling the cover, locate and reconnect both ends of the communication cable connecting the water-cooling board to the mainboard. This cable is typically identified as a yellow cable.

#2 Error Code BOARDS.ELEMENT_NOT_FOUND.ui_gd330 (UI board communication failure)

This error indicates an abnormal communication between the UI board and the mainboard.
  1. Refer to the video on disassembling the side panels here: https://support.xtool.com/article/949?from=xTool%20P2%20Series&url=%2Fproduct%2F4.
  2. After disassembling both the left and right covers of the machine, locate and reconnect both ends of the communication cable connecting the UI board to the main control board. This cable is typically identified as a red cable.

#3 Error Code BOARDS.ELEMENT_NOT_FOUND.motion_gd450 (Main control board communication failure)

This error indicates an abnormal communication between the main control board and other external circuit boards.
  1. Observe the main control board (the motherboard) after powering on. It is not necessary to disassemble any covers in this step.
  2. Verify if two indicator lights are blinking on the main control board. You may need to change your viewing angle through small holes on the machine's side to observe. Two blinking lights after power on indicate a normal operational condition.

After completing the troubleshooting procedures relevant to the specific error code, restart the xTool P2 device.

If the error persists, please contact xTool customer support with details of the error code and steps taken.
