What is xTool SafetyPro™ Air Purifier 2?

SafetyPro™ Air Purifier 2 (AP2) is your ultimate solution for purifying harmful dust and fumes produced during laser engraving. With its advanced filtration, it ensures that the air released meets quality standards for outdoor emissions.

  • Dual Super Cyclone System: With this trailblazing technology, larger particles are efficiently separated, significantly enhancing the device's filter life.
  • Multi-Layer Filtration: The five-layer filtration system reduces volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to 0.1mg/m³ or 0.087ppm, while PM2.5 levels from basswood processing are kept below 8μg/m³. Additionally, the system ensures odor-free operation for a cleaner and more pleasant environment.
  • High-Pressure Fan: A high-powered fan, as potent as a cyclone, generates consistent airflow, even at a resistance of 1500Pa.

Which xTool laser devices are compatible with Air Purifier 2?

The Air Purifier 2 (AP2) is compatible with all current xTool models via two different pipe connectors:

  • Pipe connector 1: S1 & F1 Ultra
  • Pipe connector 2: M1 Ultra, M1, F1, P2 Series, D Series

Note: For P2 Series & D Series, the connection is secured by a pipe clamp included in the package.

 

Why are only some models compatible with Bluetooth linkage?

  • To link Air Purifier 2 (AP2) with a laser machine, a Bluetooth dongle must be plugged in.
  • Unfortunately, only S1, F1 Ultra, M1 Ultra, and P2S models are equipped with this Bluetooth dongle for seamless linkage.

 

Does the laser device's fan need to be disabled during the Air Purifier 2 (AP2) operation?

  • P2 & P2S: Yes. The laser machine should be turned off while using AP2. Specifically, P2S will automatically disable its built-in fan once linked with the purifier, while the P2 requires manual disabling.
  • Other models: No. No need to turn off the laser device's fan.

 

Can the Air Purifier vent air outside after filtration?

  • Yes, the purifier comes with an exhaust pipe and connectors, allowing users to vent filtered air directly outside.

 

Can the purifier be connected to the laser device without the Bluetooth Dongle?

  • No, the purifier requires its Bluetooth Dongle to establish a Bluetooth connection.

 

What cleaner is recommended for maintenance?

  • Kitchen grease cleaner works best for dissolving fan surface grease.

 

What is the noise level of AP2?

  • Lowest: 55dB
  • Highest: 65dB

 

What are the storage requirements for the filters?

  • Store in a dry, ventilated environment at 5-60°C with 55% relative humidity.
  • Recommended storage time: 6 months for optimal filter performance.

 

What exhaust pipe specifications can the purifier's airflow inlet accommodate?

Pipe connector 1

  • Hard pipes: Compatible with inner diameters of 76mm and outer diameters of 85mm.
  • Soft pipes: Supports outer diameters between 65mm and 85mm.

Pipe connector 2

  • Hard pipes: Compatible with inner diameters of 51mm and outer diameters of 60mm.
  • Soft pipes: Supports outer diameters between 85mm and 110mm.

 

Is the AP2 compatible with third-party laser devices?

  • Yes, but only if your laser engraver's exhaust pipe and ventilation match the purifier's specifications, i.e. 150m³/h airflow, 60 - 110 mm pipe diameter.

 

Why does xTool Creative Space only display one purifier when two are connected via Bluetooth Dongle?

  • Unfortunately, xTool laser machines do not support connecting multiple devices of the same type simultaneously at the current stage.
