Issue description
If your Inline Fan 2 (IF2) continues to operate after the laser engraver has completed processing, please refer to this guide for resolution.
Important Note
Before proceeding further, please confirm whether your laser device supports Bluetooth dongle communication. For xTool products, the Bluetooth dongle connection to IF2 is currently only compatible with the following models:
S1
F1 Ultra
M1 Ultra
P2S
Please note that the P2 model does not support Bluetooth dongle connectivity.
Troubleshooting
# For Models Supporting Bluetooth Dongle Communication:
Check if AUTO Mode is Enabled
Ensure that the AUTO mode is activated on the Inline Fan 2 by checking its "Auto mode indicator".
If it is not enabled, press the AUTO mode button on the controller to turn it on.
If this does not resolve the issue, proceed to the next step.
Adjust Operation Time Setting
The xTool Creative Space software is set by default to extend the operation time of the Inline Fan 2 for optimal purification performance. This means that after laser processing ends, the fan will continue to operate for a while.
Adjust this setting in the XCS software to customize the duration of operation as needed.
If the problem remains unresolved after following the above steps, please contact xTool Customer Service at support@xtool.com. Include a detailed description of the issue and a list of the troubleshooting results you have already attempted for further assistance.
# For Models Not Supporting Bluetooth Dongle Communication
For laser machines that do not support Bluetooth dongle communication, manually disengage the AUTO mode:
Press the "Airflow down" or "Airflow up" button on the controller to operate it manually.
After processing is complete, please remember to turn off the IF2 manually.
