To support adding processing templates for materials, xTool Creative Space (XCS) offers a new function for you to operate on your mobile phones or iPads. This page uses xTool F1 Ultra as an example to illustrate detailed steps.
1. Open XCS and connect your device to XCS.
Note: Do not connect your device in the hotspot mode. Otherwise, you may not be able to connect the network and use the function.
2. Log in and tap Add on the homepage.
Alternatively, you can tap Settings in the lower right corner on the project page.
Then, tap Material > + Add.
3. On the Add material page, name the material and set processing parameters below.
Under Processing result template, you can select a material and use the recommended processing result template.
Alternatively, you can tap the icon and set the processing parameters for your own material.
4. Tap Test material now.
5. On the Test material page, tap Process.
If you've already had a material with test results, you can tap Import and choose to capture an image or upload an image from your mobile phone.
If you tap Camera to shoot an image, XCS will automatically skip steps 6 to 7 and go directly to step 8.
If you tap Photos to upload an image from your mobile phone, XCS will automatically skip steps 6 to 8 and go directly to step 9.
6. Place a material on the baseplate and tap Process. If you want to confirm the exact processing area, tap Framing before processing.
For xTool P2, you can tap the Obtain background button to capture an image. This step is optional and you can tap Process directly.
If there is any problem during processing, tap Stop processing or Pause.
Stop processing: terminates the current processing and returns to the previous page.
Pause: pauses the processing and allows users to resume the processing later.
7. Tap Shoot and upload.
8. Use your mobile phone to shoot the processing result. Make sure the material is within the green box.
9. Tap Confirm in the lower right corner.
If you are not satisfied with the image, you can zoom in or out on the image to crop it or tap Cancel to take another photo.
10. Wait until XCS recognizes the image automatically.
11. Tap Confirm.
If you are not satisfied with the image, tap Upload again to take another photo or select an image from your mobile phone.
12. On the Add material page, make sure all the information is correct and then tap Save.
To use this material processing template, you can tap Settings in the lower right corner on the project page.
Then, tap the Material row.
On the Select material page, tap the Customized tab, select the material you added, and tap Confirm.

In the Select material dialog box, tap the Customized tab, select the material you added, and tap Confirm.
