When you process with Pen Drawing or Hot Foil Pen, you can use two ways to set distance: By z-axis movement and by auto-measure. 

When you process with Foil Transfer Tip, you can use By z-axis movement to set distance.

For Pen Drawing or Hot Foil Pen

By z-axis movement

1.  Select the processing mode Pen Drawing or Hot Foil Pen.

2. Select the material thickness.

3. Make sure you move the drawing pen or hot foil pen over the material.

4. Click the icon to start measurement.

5. Click the up / down arrow to adjust the distance until the drawing pen or hot foil pen's tip is about to touch the material's surface. 

①: You can slide the slider or select the number to set the distance unit.

②: Click or to adjust the distance. Click to perform the z-axis homing.

6. When the distance is set, click Confirm.

The distance is set successfully.

By auto-measure

1.  Select the processing mode Pen Drawing or Hot Foil Pen.

2. Select the material thickness.

3. Make sure you install the laser module and move it over the material.

4. Click the icon to start measuring automatically.

5. The distance is set successfully.

For Foil Transfer Tip

1.  Select the processing mode Foil Transfer Tip.

2. Select the material thickness.

3. Make sure you move the multi-function carriage over the material.

4. Click the icon to start measurement.

5. Click the up / down arrow to adjust the distance until the foil transfer tip is about to touch the material's surface.

②: Click or to adjust the distance. Click to perform the z-axis homing.

6. When the distance is set, click Confirm. 

The distance is set successfully.
