Tackle "Processing Module Not Matching the Processing Type" for M1 Ultra

Issue description

  • When you initiate a processing by clicking the start button, a pop-up window in the xTool Creative Space (XCS) software may appear with the message: “Processing module not matching the processing type.” Follow the steps in this guide to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

 

Why does it happen

  1. The desired processing mode is selected in the software, but the installed processing module does not match the selected mode.
  2. The installed processing module matches the desired processing type, but a different processing mode is selected in the software.

 

How to fix it

#Check XCS processing mode & installed processing module

  1. Open M1 Ultra's lid.
  2. Verify that the installed processing module and the selected processing mode in XCS match the desired processing type. If you find:
    1. The desired processing mode is selected in the software, but the installed processing module does not match the selected mode:
      • Replace the module with one that matches the desired processing type.
    2. The installed processing module matches the desired processing type, but a different processing mode is selected in the software:
      • Adjust the processing mode in the XCS software to match the desired processing type.
  3. Note: For "Blade cut" mode, ensure the corresponding blade type is selected.
  4. If the issue persists despite following the above steps, please contact xTool Customer Service at support@xtool.com. Include a detailed description of the issue and a list of the troubleshooting results you have already attempted for further assistance.
