Issue description
- After connecting M1 Ultra to xTool Creative Space (XCS), if you see a pop-up error message displaying "Z-axis homing failure (module on multi-function holder l error code: M23 S156)" while the indicator light turns red and the buzzer sounds the alarm three times consecutively, this indicates a Z-axis reset failure. Please consult this guide for troubleshooting advice.

Possible causes
- The Z-axis motor inside the multi-function carriage may have failed, or there may be a poor connection to the wiring.
- The Z-axis control board itself may be malfunctioning.
Troubleshooting
Step 1: Replace the multi-function carriage
- Power on M1 Ultra.
- Remove the currently installed multi-function carriage from your M1 Ultra.
- Install an alternate processing module from your M1 Ultra package while ensuring proper installation (refer to the images below).
- Cross-test the alternate processing module with a process project.
- Evaluate the results:
- If the error code no longer pops up, this indicates the original processing module may be malfunctioning. Please contact xTool Customer Service at support@xtool.com for further assistance.
- If the error code persists, proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Replace the Z-axis control board
- If the issue persists despite following the above steps, it indicates a possible failure of the Z-axis control board.
- Please replace the Z-axis control board by following the video tutorial below.
