The printed pattern is noticeably missing one or more colors.
Troubleshooting
#1 Ensure the ink cartridge container is properly closed
Make sure the cover of the container is closed properly and that both sides snap into place.
#2 Clean the ink cartridge nozzle plate
If the ink solidifies, it may clog the nozzle plate of the cartridge, affecting ink flow. To resolve this issue, clean and maintain the ink cartridge. For tutorials, please refer to this video guide or the following text steps.
Use a tissue dipped in a small amount of warm water and gently press the ink cartridge nozzle onto the tissue. This can be repeated several times until the ink flows evenly and is saturated.
If the nozzle plate remains blocked, soak it in a small amount of warm water. After 2-3 minutes, take it out, absorb the excess moisture, and try printing again.
Note: The first print after nozzle plate maintenance may have uneven ink. Please go for a test run before proceeding with the actual printing.
Confirm ink level status - The ink cartridge contains three colors of ink. If you often print monotonous color images in daily use, it may cause the ink for a certain color to run out earlier, resulting in printing with a lack of color. In case this happens, you need to replace the ink cartridge with a new one. To check if the ink is depleted, please follow these steps: 1. Make sure the ink hasn't solidified, and gently press the nozzle plate with a tissue. 2. Observe whether the tissue has three colors and if they are evenly saturated. 3. If yes, the ink is sufficient, please proceed with the processing test. 4. If not, the ink is exhausted, please replace the ink cartridge.
#4 Clean the ink cartridge contact points
Use a cotton swab with a small amount of alcohol to gently wipe the contact points. Try printing again after cleaning.
#5 Check the ink cartridge container's ribbon cable
If the ribbon cable on the ink cartridge container is damaged, please contact customer support for further assistance.
#6 Replace the ink cartridge
If the above steps did not solve the problem, the ink cartridge itself might be faulty.
