Material shifts or deforms during processing, leading to non-closed shapes or distorted patterns.

Troubleshooting

#1 Replace the blade

• The blade may be worn, affecting the processing quality.

#2 Secure the material

• Install screws to fix the baseplate, and ensure that the cutting mat and material being processed do not move during processing.

#3 Set the correct processing parameters

• For official materials, please use the recommended parameters.
• For materials without recommended parameters, you can use the Material Test Array to obtain suitable processing parameters.

#4 Replace tiny-line patterns

1. Given the thickness and width of the blade, when it cuts fine-line patterns, as it exerts a force on the material, material warping or pattern deformation may occur as a result of the compression.
2. This is especially the case when the blade is carving intricate designs.
3. Hence, to mitigate compression effects, it is recommended to reduce the processing speed, or simply replace tiny-line patterns for better results.
