Material parameter preset is used to process yet the material is not cut through. Usually, burn marks can be seen on the front side of the material, with little to no marks on the backside.
Troubleshooting
This issue may be caused by various reasons, please follow the steps below for troubleshooting.
#1 Set the correct material type
Please select the correct material type in the material list, and then use the recommended parameters for processing.
For non-official materials or materials without recommended parameters, you can use the Material Test Array and find suitable processing parameters on your own.
#2 Clean the laser lens
Please clean the laser lens. If it's severely oxidized, discolored, or damaged, please replace it.
Uneven materials may cause some areas to lose focus during processing and result in incomplete cuts. Please replace with flat materials.
#4 Adjust processing parameters
The power of the laser module will slowly decrease over time. If your laser module has been used for a long time, the power may drop, potentially preventing the material from being cut through.
You can improve cutting performance by increasing power, reducing speed, or increasing processing times.
#5 Use supported materials
The laser module uses a semiconductor blue laser solution and cannot cut transparent, metal, ceramic, and other materials.
